I Wish You Were Here

I Wish You Were Here

A Poem by dangerbooze

Diving beneath a river of silk and satin
My mind filled by you
Limbs tangled and breath shared
I curl up on your imprint

Surrounded by your scent
Memories running rampant
Eyes almost as dark as mine
Gazing at me with tenderness

Back arching in a stretch
I reach for what's not there
Yet I feel your whiskers
Dragging against my skin

Settling down to bed
Eyes sealed shut by bliss
Your arm wrapped around me
It almost feels real.

Very good flow. Gives a gentle feeling but strong emotion.

Sounds dreamy to me. Nice poem. Gives me peace just reading it. Very somber and relaxing write.

About
I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
