Where everything is exactly as it seems
Where reality is planted in the soil of souls
Where fantasies exist beyond dreams.

Take me to that place
Where hate has no place to to call home
Where poverty is a word without basis
Where loneliness is a stranger who is always alone.

Take me to that place
Where trust can never be broken
Where love is exactly what it says it is
Where joy speaks without a word spoken.

Take me to that place
Where emptiness is never a state of mind
Where hopelessness can only exist yesterday
Where fear runs away leaving courage behind.

Take me to that place
Oh please help me find it somehow
For my mind is growing cold and weary
From living in the now.

The line about lonliness being a stranger always alone.. absolutely genius.

Dani, you spark a flame of hope here... yes there is the frustration felt.. but hope of hearing such good things, that they can be. Since we grow so tired of the redundance of our lives, the constatn battle to make 2 steps only to be taken back 1.

The images your words invoke are beautiful, peaceful and give hope that somewhere exists this utopia we all wish to find.

When the cold reality of life gets us down, it is nice to know that somewhere over some rainbow exists a perfect place where everyone lives in harmony.

Hey when you get there will you send my a post card with direction I would love to go there as well. Sounds like a modern garden of eden. You have a way of capture our hopes and own desires as a reader and alluring us in to nodding our head in agreement as we would all love to find this place. But i can't help to think if we all feel this way about looking for this idea place, then way can't we work on turning the here and now into this place we all seek. I just wonder.
