CRAYONS

CRAYONS

A Poem by Dani California

I picked up a crayon

And scribbled a bit

This blank piece of paper

Had new purpose to it

I picked up another

And scribbled some more

Its meaning grew deeper

So the more I explored

I continued through the box

Picking one crayon at a time

Then adding more color

To this masterpiece of mine

A pinch of blue

A dabble of green

I litte bit of red

Every color was seen

Each and every color

Gently blended and entwined

Painted the color of love

On the hearts

Of mankind

yes this is nice ,as i see it ,writing adds a color with each word you say until at the end with so many words there is a great writing imaging a very nice cored peace of imagination ,with the words or the color blending so nicely to put out a great piece as if you have just finished a painting rather than a drawing ,very nice ly done

Sweet! Reminds me of how I get with a brand new, unopened box of crayons......Or a fresh piece of construction paper.....=)

Awww it sounds like something an innocent child would say. It truly brings out the love and respect of colour to your heart, doesnt it?

Now this is nicely done and very creative use of colors to reinforce the theme of your poetry. Well done!

wow very poetic and creative. I'm impressed with the visionary effects as they accent the words and the cleaver approach at he end to serenade black type.Out standing

This was sweet and had a childish innocence to it which was nice. The use of colors went nicely with it as well. A wonderfully light poem.
