So Far Away

In one of those write cheesy crap moods XD Yay! Here ya go.

Your smile comes across the computer screen

sending butterflies through my stomach

making a smile cross my own face

and sending shivers up my spine

 

You laugh and its a wonderful sound

a beautiful mix of Heaven and Earth

there's a sparkle in those lovely eyes

that just works wonders on my heart

 

You speak, your voice a melody

repeating like a song on my stereo

I can't help but get to wishing

Wishing that you were by my side

 

There's many miles between us

there's a lot of road we have to travel

but without a shadow of doubt, I know

I know it's worth a shot

 

Because when I see your smile

hear the lovely sound of your laugh

mixed with the melody of your voice

you don't feel so far away

I love how although you're forlorn about this person being so far away, by the end of it I see you're hopeful for them NOT being all that far afterall I really thought this was lovely and optimistic among all the dour and dramatic poems I read on here ... although this wasn't really upbeat or anything and maybe had a deep tone I get tired of reading the drama hah so thank you :)
