Wandering the Night

Wandering the Night

A Poem by Dark Beauty
"

Blindness

"
I wander in the night
with cloaked sheaths
of an unending time

Painful love
quench my thirst
give me rest
while I lay upon medows
of trickery and dust

I am yours for a time
vengeful heartbeats
as shadows chain my mind
with great laughter
master minds play

Laughter falls
through the breeze
taunting me with torture
wrath in the night
consuming me

I can almost have the image in my head with the words you write, that are so smoothly to read.

Well done. Creates a powerful image that I'm sure many people can relate to.

Your last stanza was my favorite.

I like the strength in the usage of words. Poem came out with a dark tale and ending with a painful ending. In a short poem you made the words come alive and create a good vision. Thank you for a excellent poem.
