Trail of tears forever remains
graceful heart haunted by the cry's in the wind
waters rush the shore once more
cursing beat heard no more
decaying truth of bruises


Ticking away in silence
these tears remain
longing for expression
once upon dreams

As time moves by
tears flow on by as seasons flourish with sunshine
a warm heart
beating vibrantly again
I am turning the pages
of me and you

"decaying truth of bruises" love that line. If I may describe the image it evokes in my mind whereby when a bruise heals "decaying" the proof it was ever there is known by no one but the holder... powerful words.

Tears seem to release the pressure of the heart when overwhelmed with joy, love and longing. Your tears were shed and their transparency of a mixture of joy, love and longing are sweetly and bitterly combined here. A heart tugging expression.
