Spark

Spark

A Poem by DarkRainbowPie
"

In the everyday hustle and bustle of life, you can end up meeting a lot of people. Many are forgettable, but some; you will never forget.

"
Sit there. Silent. Surrounded by all.
Crowded room. Tight space. Little air.
People pass. People stop. People stay for awhile.
The names of few you come to know.

But then there's one... there's always one.
That one that comes over and smiles.
A question is asked, an answer is given,
And it all
            starts
                    from there.

The hustle and bustle continues around you
But you haven't a care in the world.
You look in his eyes, you zone in on his words
Surroundings become a mere blur.

Time ticks on, hands racing in circles
Hours congeal into one.
But time waits for no one, and for now, it's all up.
He's leaving and you're not even done.

STOP.
It's a name to remember
A voice you have got to hear again.
Importune him... for a 10 digit number
It doesn't have to end here.

On the journey of life, you meet many people
Some stay, but many go.
But if there's one... that one that smiles
Make sure they stay for awhile.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH - I have no words.......my voice is in my awe! Every aspect! It's all beautifully written and exudes perfection! Well done!

I loving the flowing form of writing style chosen. Well written piece with an embedded sentiment. Life is far to short to worry about something, best just to grab it by the horns.

Thank you very much for your lovely comment.
Exactly the kind of message I was going for :)
A nice natural rhythm, you slipped back into it nicely, if I do say so myself, but then again this is my first piece to read by you so this is a brilliant first impression, I do so love the feeling you're describing, spark in the fingers, electricity in the tummy. I could go on but I won't, I'll say that I liked the fourth stanza the most, stunning write, thanks for sharing~
