I ink this final note about the most likely final moments styled in a deft tone instrumental of a dealt existence. That is my life. The ink will dry one day soon and I'm not sure what will be left.

What line will be drawn? Who will be left standing? What is the state of things?

Just because I'm talking to you now doesn't mean I will be here when gun smoke dissipates in this hotel room. I hear the knocks and break of timbers in the door protecting me before my future last stand. I grip the two fully loaded pistols in my hands waiting for the final onslaught. I think to myself.

Was I ever alive again? Or was I always dead?
