Totally Madness and Love

Totally Madness and Love

A Poem by Reaper

Sicken Satanic Reaper

Ready for a soul

Cloudy storm of fear gather

Love and light there to stop me

I was anchored to empty ship of my making

Hell chain binded my skin and bones

Burning my core

I was way past my breaking point

Scared, raw, and ready to implode

Tattooed curse of love

Love that is dead or gone

I stick the emotional gun

Into my dry mouth

My finger lingered on the trigger

That extra moment of hesitation

You found me

You psychological beat some sense into me

You pulled me from the ledge

I felt I needed to taste that sweet cement

Live in that dirty grave

You felt I could love and live again

And somehow you were right

Little did we know my redemption would be found in you

You let me in

I played with your dark

And stayed for the light

I love you

You are my everything

Perfect to my eyes

All I do is wait

Wait to start forever

With you

This weeps blood and fright, pain and darkness. Enticingly begging for the death so ready. To quit feeling and living with pain where love should be. The darkness is like a shadow, like it could clutch your throat. ANd the pain is so strong inside of your words, so strong it could kill. Your mind is one of turmoil and so is the darkness enslaving the soul inside. But the heart you've let light up inside of this poem. Inside of your words. You cans ee the love, the anguish for that love. And the patience enough to find the time to say yes, I want you.You let me in

"I played with your dark

And stayed for the light"

That is my favorite line. It is so beautiful. To express how the depth of someone's soul is, and show the parts that let you yourself live. You packed a punch in that simple line. One that tells a story, so crazy and wild and beautiufl where evil found no time to prevail but your heart and the other person's conquered the sky, conquered the demons, conquered the world. And in that, found love so deep and wise and beautiful. I love this poem. Needless to say it is right spot on and beautiful.

Well done.

I have always thought that love could heal, but with every healing there is a consequence, and that is just what i believe. I do think this is a very good poem, its nice, simple, and has allot of truth to it. Even when you feel like you're going to just stop breathing, and stop caring, That is when you need most of your friends, family members, and loved ones. Love Can Heal. So can Doctors, But the real reason Im telling you this, is because I've felt like this. And I've had this thought. I've had this experience. It sucks. And I feel like the only reason I'm here right now is because I told my friends, my family, and they supported me. That helped a great deal. But I think that all i really want to say in this whole thing is that...The way to help everything is love, and if you need to talk about anything. Just message me. I can talk about anything. Sorry about the rant... :)

I love the imagery you put into this. Especially " taste that sweet cement" You express emotion very well. Great work.

I often wondered if love could heal the soul. I wanted to believe that the innocence of a womans touch and the nurturing arms she holds him, would be enough to change his life. I see here that you may be the only man I have seen this work.
