Artificial Acceptance

The electric hum

And artificial glow

Satisfy my need to be alone

Plugging in and logging on

And then I'm gone

Day after day

My escape

To a place where no one knows me

And they can only see

The me I create

I can be perfect
I can say everything right

I can be who others envy

Only in this virtual reality

Can I keep on giving

Only on this screen

Can I keep on thriving

Because on the outside

I'm tired of living

A deep struggle

Consumes me

My friends confuse me

I don't see the point

In very much anymore

I've seen too much

I feel too much

I want too much

But when I come closer to attaining

They slip further from me

Only in this virtual reality

Can I keep on giving

Only on this screen

Can I keep on thriving

Because on the outside

I'm tired of living

It's hard to escape

From the only place that loves you

excellent!! the imbodiment of a that thought or thoughts is just
freely fluttering about
as-like butterflys or moths beautiful and if so might be ugly i don't
see it as being ugly ... one has wings colorful and extremely fun in the moment riding the breeze but when the moment is done and again one they want to be quickly gone in thier brite brite car car meanwhile on the otherhand the moth
with its tattered wings from flying long on its own power own will to avoid
getting burnt has lurnt a new way a better way to burn ones small time ONLINE
with white wings shinning brite in the dark glim of late night or in the dark dim wee early morning hour or so ... i gotta go, in my dark dark car car is colorful color-form... also... awesome poem !!!
