In Silence

In Silence

A Poem by Dark Tower

I sat and watched her every movement
Thought about her smile so much I'm almost used to it
In my mind our conversations flows so easily
But when I'm in front of her I can't get my thoughts fluid
Don't want to be the one to say I want you with me
But if you looked into my eyes
You would see I can't hide it
But I talk with my pride
So for now I'll sit in silence

I pray prayer brings me guidance
Because if I cannot see you
Then only God knows how I'll live
I hate falling in love read my mind and know its true
All I now want to do is sit and think of you
And I know its wrong
I know I should probably let you go
But roses don't choose to be appreciated
So I'll keep loving you even if you hate it
Told my heart a thousand times but still no compliance
So for now I'll just sit in silence

Are you feeling my stare?
Do you notice I'm there?
If wasn't would you notice?
More than that would you care?
Awkward and shy
My prides disfigured with lies
Lie about the way I feel
Honestly the only thing that helps me deal
Super infatuated
But with no appeal
Trying to find a way to get you with me still
I have to fight this
But I cannot win
So for now I'll just in silence
And hope you call me again

What we didn't do. Break our heart more than our mistakes. I liked the thoughts and the longing for better ending or beginning. Powerful words shared my friend.
