Death

Death

A Chapter by Rev. Fr, S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.

See I told you no one would miss me, but you didn't

Understand. When I died I saw you you did not cry, though

I told you to miss me, you never did. I took the pill and waited

Changing, trying to heal. I never did. You knew I loved you, for

I told you everyday. Now I burn in hell for you to live so well.

Did you even care about me at all, you never came to stop me

Everyone, but you saw me fall.

Deep and haunting but realistic feelings. It's like wanting to be a fly on the wall to see the repurcussions. Even though you may feel this person may not mourn, in time, it smacks one in the face. Great expression and your emotions made me almost tear up.

I definitely like this; it's a great piece. I have to say, I actually didn't really expect an accrostic, but you definitely did an awesome job with it. The dark/sad atmosphere of it is nice (happiness is overrated... >.>) and I can really feel the feelings radiating off the words.

One tiny thing though. It should be "no" instead of "know" on the first line.

great idea that you emphasized the word "suicide" in your poem while not sacrificing the essence of the poem. it got connected. nice.
