Writer's block.

Writer's block.

A Poem by Rev. Fr, S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.
"

This is for anyone who has writer's block, and feels they are alone.

"

Wrong, wrong, wrong every word made to

Resemble my thoughts and dreams, but even

I can see it needs to be better! I see the

Theme and the plot. I hear the words and

Emphasize the scene again. Rewriting my

Run-though, over and over again. Every

Slur is wrong. I grab my pen and scream

Bogus! My nerves are stoned, my eyes are

Leery. My mind is lost in train of thought

Obstacle. I see it all so plain in my mind

Consecutive. Every thing I see I hope to

Keen my wit, so I can just write my block.

XD wow! This is so spot on! I get the same feeling when I want to draw something- then remember that I don't know how to draw. u.u But it's worse with writing, because we know we CAN write... our hands just aren't cooperating. And then, when you're mentally reorganizing your thoughts you get lost in the confusion and it's all chaos from there.
I can so see this happening, like in a movie.
Great job!

Write on.. a little play on words of course.. but still, when it strikes.. the quickest of cures is to write on, pushing the thoughts and feeling onto paper.. when I look back after suffering though such times, I find tidbits of phrases, and words that show up later in some of my pieces.. so.. write on...

LOL I hate when I get writers block too. I know how hard it is to focus. It's like my book I don't know what to put for the right words sometimes...though I know what the plot is. Good write.

I hate it when I get the writer's block, and this feeling can very well be depicted in this poem .. Many times we know what to write about. We have ideas, the pen, and the paper, but we are unable to write something, unable to know where to begin ... It's really irritating when we want to write, but are unable to, due to lack of inspiration or words.
Nice write.
