Light Switch Attitude

By Eric Darsie

Once upon a night or two ago,

When it all caught up to you,

You ate those threats that you tend to dished out,

A nut that was hard to swallow,

You claimed to be invincible,

Acting like you’re irreplaceable,

Trust me,

We’re all spokes in the wheel of life.

You’re light switch attitude turns people off,

You’re being left in the dark.

Nobody wants to be friends with you

And I can’t blame them anymore.

One moment you’re all laughs,

The next you’re flicking me off,

Insulting me for carrying extra weight,

While you’re mouth has diarrhea.

Granted I’m overweight,

At least I have all my brain cells.

It appears you aren’t all there,

Only person that’s your friend is your Grandmother.

It’s only just that you got what came,

You’re the one who put it upon your shoulders.

How you act while at work,

You never actually worked, right?

We know you won’t admit it

But we know it’s true.

Goodbye and good riddance,

I never had been happier at work than now.
