Don’t Cry Me a River

Everything has a reason

At least that’s what I’m told

Not knowing where I’m at in my season

All I’m getting is old

I’ve been hurt by your misunderstanding

That’s just the way that it happened

All those times are past now

Never saying I’ll let that conversation slid

So sister don’t cry, cry me a river

And brother don’t try to rule over me, yeah

Sister don’t cry, my horse is now ridin’

I’ve wasted all my time trying

I’ve wasted all my time trying

Now that my heart has been broken

And now you want my company

There’s no point of you tryin’ my phone

I’m heading off west with my destiny

We all have our own problems, yeah

God knows what’s been tying me down

The nights are always the hardest

But tonight some who I know I’ll be fine

So sister don’t cry, cry me a river

And brother don’t try to rule over me, yeah

Sister don’t cry, my horse is now ridin’

I’ve wasted all my time trying

I’ve wasted all my time trying

So sister don’t cry, cry me a river

And brother don’t try to rule over me, yeah

Sister don’t cry, my horse is now ridin’

I’ve wasted all my time trying

I’ve wasted all my time trying
