On a 80+ degree Minnesota Sunday, I put pen to paper and this came out.

In my arms you’re safe

Surrounded by my love and embrace

You’ll stay here forever

If I had things go my way

 

Though the hotness of day and the coldness of night

I can rely on the warmth of your love

Enjoyment of our friendship

Beautifies within each others arms

 

Your hugs is what I desire

Brotherhood, companionship, friendship, forever

Happiness arrives when I spot you across the room

I’m embraced with it when you embrace me

 

If you could, would you stay here forever?

Charishing my embrace while I’m wrapped in your arms

Can’t think of anything sweeter

Than for us to stay like this for eternity

 

When we go our separate ways

Our last squeeze before we turn away

Soaking in as much in as possible

Lasting memory will remain
