Massive

Massive

A Poem by Moving Mass
"

This one really came out with birth pains. Expect more though.

"
If in my dreams I tore through the seams of hope,
remember the day I started this fray with you.
Beneath my soul, I burnt through your coal.
Forgive me if I stay. Forgive me if I say
you're wrong.

I can't recall the crimes I've committed,
remembering all the times I've submitted
myself to kings.

I'm working the kinks out.
I'm broken. I'm wired.

"The token of life is to never get tired."

These words,
They mean nothing to me.
Throughout my life,
all I've wanted to be is
myself.

So false advisers,
f**k off if you please.
Just stay on the shelf
and I'll be at ease.
Don't say it, I know:
I'm analytical,
straining myself just to stay
sub-critical.
