Rhyme Time

Rhyme Time

A Poem by David Jones

Rhyme Time

In a few short chimes

We’ll explore all the times

You could make this rhyme.

I won’t ask for a dime,

That would be a crime

For this is much too prime.

Right now you’re trying to mime,

Not realizing we’re midway through our climb,

When you notice gross, green slime

Growing on your favorite lime!

“Oh no, what am I’m "

You start but then you recall your thyme,

It was covered with rime,

After being in this chilly clime.
