You'd been Missing Me?

You'd been Missing Me?

A Poem by David-Tyler

I keep looking for your name in the sky
I've been trying to find what happened to you and I
And I already asked the shower, how did I lose her
It happened so fast, it's all a blur, now we're missing who we were
Sitting atop of your car late at night
Holding you real tight, I was wondering if I heard you right
Saying you'd been missing me, both just as confused
I'm short fused, as a product of being so often used, heart still bruised
I can't tell you how much I think of it all
My world paused as I saw you wrapped in Fall
The air crisp to the touch, but you didn't worry much
But don't think I don't know better just because your makeup won't smudge
And now I'm trying to find you
In skies blue, someone new, in early morning's mildew
I just wasn't through being a sucker sucked in
In your eyes, in your curves, thighs thick, your waist so thin
I know you know, no one else will feel like home
And as long as you're out there, I'll feel alone
I'm the kind of broken, no one else can understand the feeling
It's not the kind of broken not many find appealing
I keep looking for your name in the sky
I've been trying to find what happened to you and I
And now I'm trying to find you
In skies blue, someone new, in early morning's mildew
I just wasn't through being a sucker sucked in
In your eyes, in your curves, thighs thick, your waist so thin
Sitting atop of your car late at night
Holding you real tight, I was wondering if I heard you right
Saying you'd been missing me

About
I post my worst work here to get constructive criticism. I'm critical of other people because that's what's helpful. I won't make anything personal until you do. I'm not here for drama, fights, or oth.. more..
