![]() ReindeerA Poem by Dave BrownOne of the Christmas reindeer Walked into our house It sat in my easy chair Surprising me and my spouse Then walked into the kitchen And took our food and coffee Back to my easy chair Downing it all while watching TV From living room to bathroom Where it climbed into the tub And asked if I would mind Giving its’ back a real rub When a spot in our bed Seemed to catch its fancy It fell asleep on there With our little dog Nancy Lying on their backs With their feet in the air With all eight legs running Having the same nightmare Other reindeer finally arrived And gave that beast lotsa flak Then they took it to Santa’s barn And I hope it won’t be coming back At least until Christmas © 2019 Dave Brown |
