Parking

Parking

A Poem by Dave Brown
"

labor issues

"

Out in the garden patch

A concerned group had appeared

Heavy discussion was underway

Was this something to be feared

A squirrel, a rabbit and a deer

Were joined by many others

Was some good to come of this

Negative were my druthers

A spokes representative approached us

After they had all expressed agreement

Telling of their right to eat every garden plant

No matter the effort we had spent

Common sense came to the rescue

In the garden, they'd continue to park-it

While we would buy the food we eat

Down at the Super-Market

Love it! :)
Reminds me of my own garden. I plant vegetables every year but the bunnies and the deer always stop in to snack.
