Sisters!

Sisters!

A Poem by Dave Brown
"

dream taker

"

A fairy stopped by, to take back my dreams

I’d had too many, or so it seems

She flushed my head and took them away

To get them back I figured I’d have to pay

Firstly, it was necessary for me to see

What would be the appropriate, currency

When I offered her my MasterCard

Her disapproval, caught me off guard

Saying, “Dreams weren’t to buy and sell!”

Alarm bells rang, I thought, “Oh bloody hell”

I’d sold some dreams along the way

But now being broke, this rued my day

T’was then I got my first little wee hint

Sexy eyes reflected a boy-girl type glint

She had been looking for the right kinda fella

Assuring, she could be awfully darn swella

Apparently, she liked them old and grey

With mind and body both in near terminal decay

Including no inclination to romantically stray

I appeared to qualify in darn near every way

But, her much younger fairy sister was extremely good looking

My wayward eyes oft’ enjoyed many a-good-look-a-tooking

Her lovely shape enjoyably keep my eyes actively alert

Eventually I was unable to avoid even the mildest wee flirt

Now in gentle clouds, above soft tropic seas

Her much younger fairy sister and I, live a life of pure ease

Dreaming seems much less important these nights

My time is spent oft’ enjoying many other delights

Total mush
First, Dave, before summoning a fairy to flush your head, try a plunger. It's much cheaper. Second, at your age, you're taking a risk if you get hung up on some young fairy girl. At the least, make sure she can do CPR.
