Rescued

Rescued

A Poem by Dave Brown
"

Superwoman

"

I felt eyes on my neck

The night was near black

Shivers ran up my spine

Lookin for an entrance crack

I was so fragile

Like an icicle bared

Black thoughts could crack me

If they had but dared

But Superwoman saw my sad plight

And flew to my rescue

Then together we flew off for romance

What else could a poor rescued boy do

It's refreshing to read about a MAN being the wimp & needing to be rescued by some superb woman. The scheming-gold-digging-woman motif gets turned upside down! Love it! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I didn't actually say I was a wimp

know
Behind every good man there is an even better woman. Superwoman to the rescue. I hope she knows how appreciated she is :))
