Start of Day

Start of Day

A Chapter by Dave Brown

a vision

The waves move quietly

Filtered sunlight wove all through

And on that distant cliffside

Do I see a vision there of you

Your image seems to appear

Only when I stand alone

When my thoughts are a cloud

And reality becomes another zone

With those waves, I watch morn’s mist

Till a light breeze gentles all away

And as your vision wayward drifts

I turn to start my day

This feels like a comforting vision. Like a guardian angel of sorts. Making sure you're off to a good start.
