Long Distance

Long Distance

A Chapter by Dave Brown

When I shook his hand, it fell off

That’s how I knew it was fake

He told me that happened a lot

And I could have it as a keepsake

The virus had him makin em’

It was his greatest fear

And especially while he was shakin hands

He didn’t want anyone near

He’d also made an arm, six feet long

Just one arm which touched ground

Being so cool when he dropped stuff

Cuz he never had to bend down

For me, leaning over is a real pain

Which most often I profanely declare

So, I bought an arm and hand from him

And now we’re a long distance pair
