A Chapter by Dave Brown

Took my little 48

Out on the open road

Crossing all my fingers

I wouldn’t have to get towed

Two four barrels sucking

High octane by the mile

Two black lines from a start

Left me with a smile

Not gettin no backtalk

She is putty in my hands

And she shines on the clock

For my dragstripping fans

High gloss black reflecting

Chrome laid on extra thick

I can’t help interjecting

That my baby is cool sick

I love that car too. There is something very elegant about the shape of that car. Anyway again simple ordinary but also fill up with warm of your soul. Description is clear and only what we care about that is when you take us all on your will ride.
