Canvas

Canvas

A Chapter by Dave Brown
"

yes

A blank piece of canvas

A thought to guide a hand

A mind filled with images

To delight the eye of man

A tide of crafted colors

Through the magic of creation

Forms a world of wonder

In a splash of pure elation

Not just hand but heart

Combine in harmony

Until the artist’s gentle touch

Is for all the world to see

This is an artful poem that reflects the artfulness of painting. Your word-crafting, rhyme, & rhythm flow easily like the swish of paint upon a canvas. Having no painting experience myself, I can only imagine how daunting that blank canvas must be. Just throw a little paint on it, any kind of way, just to get jump-started, is what I'm guessing (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
