Wanda Worm

Wanda Worm

A Chapter by Dave Brown
"

yes

"

Wishful Wanda worm wiggled wantonly

Willing a Willie worm tour through manure

He knew that down there somewhere

Wanda worm was exuding allure

She and Willie had met in the garden

Intermingled neath tomatoes and spice

A lovesick Willie confessed to sweet Wanda

He thought she looked awfully nice

Her skin was as soft as morning’s dew

She was always in an attractive pose

And Willie would be the first to admit

He enjoyed her complete lack of clothes

They’ve since produced a waggle of wee worms

Those being waggles and wagglettes, boths

Their love for each other knows no bounds

As it continually, growths and growths

Being a worm aficionada, I love that you pay tribute to the lowly worm, giving people a glimpse of how gorgeous a squirmy naked worm can be. It's not the slimy creepy wiggle most make it out to be. And that fragrant fertile manna they poop out is the best soil-enhancer of all (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I feel an artesian fount of alliteration bubbling . . .
I have been so remiss and not given enough thought to the worm. I hang my head in shame Dave and most humbly apologise to this long derided community 😊
