A Raven Calls

A Raven Calls

A Chapter by Dave Brown

The wind was harsh

The dark sky forebode

Of a weather day

To be yet wet and cold

From a treetop

A raven called

That black shape

From the highest fir tree

That weathered warrior

Called down to me

Then a call from another

From another tree top

Forever, in this place

Always in view

A living part of the forest

Where they both grew

Passing through tallest trees

I walked hearing their call

The forest would be lonely

With no raven’s sound

Their lives are interwoven

With this hallowed ground

If this was written below 13 seconds. You are the master of speed poetry. But seriously this is quiet good. Atmosphere is little darker but not scary. It's more like painted picture on dark canvas. Nature scenery of northern bard. By the way it's look like that guy below me got crush on you
