Irene

A Chapter by Dave Brown
"

yes

"

So her breath, would be less mean

Irene subscribed to Listerine

Then with her electric tooth machine

She’d scrub her teeth, until they’d gleam

Although it was not her intent

The scent she sent was an event

And thankfully for those round’s discontent

It was something she intended to augment

Since her sorry situation would attract no beau

She bathed in bleach, from head to toe

Although her body suffered a terrible blow

Her teeth retained their fabulous glow
