All people on Earth loved little pups

Each person had a sweet Honey Bun

Because they loved them so much

All had a completely free run

 

Each person soon had many more

With them being happy to mate

What with new pup after pup

Soon each person had eight

 

Dog food companies were ecstatic

Their shares continually soared

They initiated endless commercials

With wee doggies endless adored

 

More dogs, more food, more everything

It seemed this joy wouldn’t quit

But, like good things always go wrong

Soon, the whole planet was covered in 'it'

 

Dog ownership now has renewed numbers

Most family’s total’s are now in the ones

With walking much more of a pleasure

Not wading through sweet doggy’s buns
