Bit-a-Beer

Bit-a-Beer

A Chapter by Dave Brown
"

😂

"

It looked like something

Was happin neath the mistletoe

A something that wasn’t

Quite status quo

While dropping off presents

Old Santa had dipped into my beers

But not embarrassed when he saw me

He happily offered Xmas cheers

When I noticed his sleigh outside

The reindeer were all sharing my brew too

And Rudolph, where upon seeing me

Burped out a Merry Christmas to you

Explaining, it was a long cold night

And they had just stopped for a break

And putting back just a few brew

Would help the whole crew stay awake

I could certainly spare a few beer

And I don’t mind their beer affection

But when they left filled with Christmas cheer

They were going in the wrong direction

I don't very often laugh for a while after reading a poem, but this one cracked my funny bone. I wuz seized with loud guffaws right after Rudolph belched in your face. This poem demonstrates that old Canadian politeness you keep telling me about. If these dumbasses tried any kinda s**t like this in my neighborhood, there would be a dozen assault rifles ripping holes thru the night. Thank you for restoring my faith in mankind and his beer (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

speakin of beer................()
Oh well, despite me being good(ish) this year, I'll just put the lack of a present down to previous years of naughtiness meaning he gave up on me years ago and wrote my name on the naughty list in indelible ink 😊

Well, well, well. You know years ago it used to be a glass of milk and a mince pie left for Santa. Now he has progressed to the hard stuff. Drunk on duty eh? Lol.That is a sackable offence.
