Big Hairy Beast

The wild creek was tumbling rumbling

Casgabbloing white water casgambled on down

Something black there snagged my eyeball

Maybe not black, but a very dark brown

 

Galonkin, spalonfin up n’ gasboinkin down

Head, legs arms and backside all pabailing

It was some kind of great hairy, soaked beast

Having no success at rough water flailing

 

With a mega monster waterfall just ahead

My pup and I each grabbed a handful of hair

With its help, we were able to all drag ashore

Gasping longside what I thought was a bear

 

Very soon, this saturated huge hairy beast

Sat up and began talking to us in Saskaplude

Pup and I each understood each word spoken

When he said (“gamornk oyanka ska akapude)

“I owe you my complete gratitude”!                

 

Eight feet tall and covered with hair

A huge talking beast like no other seen

An old man, his pup and this huge hairy beast

We presented quite an interesting scene

 

He departed, gushing with more thankyous

Going back to his home in the wild

The last we saw of each other was when

He yelled a goodbye, (“murglap gonkapiled!”)

Then waved and gaily smiled

This is the second time I've seen a bilingual poem from you, revealing your Sasquatch inbreeding, I suspect. The other poem, as I recall, had numerous lines in Sasquatch, but this poem seems to be a little more judicious with the Sasquatch translations, & this makes it a more manageable read overall. Also, early on, the made-up words are superb. Nobody makes up made-up words as well as you do, not even Lorry (who turned me on to the love of made-up words, early when I came to the cafe). Don't do too much goldurnboinkin today . . . it sucks all the moisture-laden clouds up toward your area (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

apparently, coming from ancient native lore, as revealed in West Coast chronicles, we share 97.35% of the same gene pool as the Sasquatch, which makes it all no big surprise that their language comes so easily to me
I am fairly sure that if you just release and relax your always activated mind, just laying back and absorbing, you will also find the influence of Sasqui filtering in to your subconscious, and these very same words, and more, will become as one with your voluminous array of endless goldurnboinkin adjectives etc.

These guys keep getting upgraded. First they were abominable snowmen, then yeti, then sasquatch. Now there's one speaking Saskaplude. Next, one will be running for office. If he was running against Trump, though,I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.
