Little Spanish Town

Little Spanish Town

A Chapter by Dave Brown

In a little Spanish town, on a night of bliss

There I met a sweet and gentle miss

Her soft brown eyes, gave my heart an extra beat

I knew she’d make my life complete

I feasted endless, upon her gorgeous face

On a night that I would never erase

We spent our time gently hugging and kissing

But when we parted, I found my wallet missing

Since then, it has turned out as I feared

My bank account has completely disappeared

My ‘pretty face gullibility’ is a disgrace

All that cash will take me eons to replace

But it was, for my love she endless yearned

And to be with me, my money was returned

Confessing, her love for me, was as large as the universe

But this time, when we parted, I swiped her purse

The give and the take of life. Love stole his wallet and he stole her purse. A deserved ending. A wonderful tale my friend. Thank you for sharing the amazing chapter.

Here we have exhibit #1 showing how good you are at swerving a storyline to catch maximum suspense & surprise! My emotions were on a roller-coaster. First I thought, that big dummy . . . but by the end, I had newfound respect for your narrator. An eye for an eye and a purse for a wallet.

As an aside, I find it amazing how many men are "pretty-lady gullible" -- many would take a lady back after knowing she'd robbed him blind. Then there are the gullible old broads who go broke trying to marry some young stud from Nigeria. This is an endless story, but I'm glad you hit all your good points in 4 verses! Ah, love and betrayal in two easy steps. And I bet you wouldn't change a thing... Not for love nor... How much was in her purse? 😊
