A Chapter by Dave Brown

I thought I saw something strange

A creeping up on me

But it was my neighbor’s pig

That had grown a goatee

He’d been offered a movie role

As a monster p***y cat

That would live in a castle on a hill

With a rich Autocrat

The role included a coffee break

Where tea with buns were served

And he, in a tux and tie

Was supposed to stay reserved

Pigs are pigs, no matter how dressed

Polite and food don’t co-exist

And when the pig acted like a pig

The director got real pissed

However, the pig was really, really big

And the cast and crew who were fairly small

Learned not to get a porker mad

As he ate them one and all

it takes a twisted mind to tell a twisted tale
I'm pretty sure you don't write a poem like this intending to deliver a gut-punch of symbolism, but let's face it, you artfully strip away the pig's bogus mystique. I can't resist your slam of all the pigs who gather around the trough thinking they come across as smooth kitties. Once again your imagination is on steroids! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
