This reminded me of fishing in my parents' backyard in Trinidad. They lived on a reservoir that was filled with Cayman...and there was one 15 feet away from me as I fished. I kept casting trying to hit it with my bobber....pretty stupid, but it just floated and watched me.
Then I went in to eat supper. Came out to clean my catch and found nothing but 6 heads.
The Cayman got me back.
