The Necessities

The Necessities

A Chapter by Dave Brown

The necessities of life

Require an unfortunate quirk

To get them

Usually means work

Which is an activity

Many’d rather shirk

But without those necessities

There’d be very liddle

And for or against would be

Either side of the middle

Do nothing and starve

Like a useless kashaniddle

Or be well rewarded

By being comitial

What with necessities

Being such as they are

I agree with you! One must work to earn the necessities of life; being lazy will get you know where; if you are committed to something (a project, ,work) you will be rewarded, no doubt about it.
A clever poem with an important lesson to us all.
Best, B
