Cadaver Café

Cadaver Café

A Poem by Dave Brown

When Igor took Horrid Hilda

On a romantic foray

He first presented her with

A ten rotten-toed bouquet

Then both decided to eat out

At the Cadaver Café

With each bringing bolt cutters

To hack up the entrée

Although with four foul fangs

It’s usually child’s play

Intestines were also available

In a throat gagging buffet

Delightfully devoured

By each gross, ghastly gourmet

With stretched tenons ripped ragged

Served in a ghoulish consume

And blue or brown eyeballs

Neath an eye-opening parfait

Then both blast belly burps of pleasure

Courtesy of this revolting array

Till finishing with finger bits

From the half-body host’s treat filled tray

For this Igor is very happy to pay

Prior to departing

On their body snatching way

Stealing my bolt cutters is the finest form of flattery! Love how you transformed the idea completely! My favorite form of Halloween gore is disgusting food fare. I don't think I've posted enuf nasty eating & your poem makes me want MORE! MORE! MORE! (((HUGS)))
