Hero

Hey, i'm just saying that I don't own the image, so don't sew me cause I'll sew YOU for not reading

 What is a hero

 What is a sacrifice?

 Why does a hero save those who damn them

 Why do they save the world from the clutches of evil, insanity, and unreal chaos?

 

 I don't understand what makes them feel why the need to

 I can't beleive what they do

 Guess i'm not a hero just a silent spectator

 Watching them defeate unbeatable odds for the greater

 

 Where will the ground split, and the moutains crumble into the sea

 I asked as I plea

 I plead to the man in tights telling me a hero is a hero, and i'm only a pond one of the herd

 Tell the truth I don't know if I can trust his word

 

 When will love save us, or will it only forsake it's poor eomotionaly abused servants

 When will the government protect us, or will they only fool us into being their peasants

 Why can't they be real

 When will the feel

 

 The pain when they realize that chaos can't be ruined for it is us all

 And that's why we'll fall

 That's what history told me

 Why can't I truly see

 

 Who the real hero is?

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but I can't help thinking of a line from one of my favourite movies; Serenity - "You know what a dentition of a hero is? Someone who gets other people killed..."

I really like this poem of yours, David! I think everyone can choose their own hero whether it's their parents, a cartoon character, or for me it'd be God. He's personally my hero in a lot of aspects,well every aspect. He makes miracles, but like I said I made my own vision from this poem. No one has a wrong or right way from the way they read this poem. Great job, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks a lot! I really like it too. My life has been a bit "bumpy lately". But don't worry. I don't have a hero, so that's why this was writen. I just can't find one I relate with.

I have, but I have never seen the best of me. I've been in my darkest, and best. That's one of the reasons I can't find a hero cause idk all of what they've been through, so that only lends more truth. Makes sense now, thanks.

Yeah, everyone has a hero or needs one anyways. Sometimes a person's hero can be themself :)

True, i'll have to put that into my philosphy book after I kinda know myself as a hero, or someone else, and have a system, or beleive on how a hero should be

Hero in my belief is someone who is willing to risk their life no matter what the situation is... but there's always been a hard time deciphering who is a hero and who is not. great write!
