Fool

Fool

A Poem by David the writer
"

I didn't want to write another cutesy lovey dovey poem, so I had another fight with writer's block... I always win

"
Thoughts rampage through my head
As I look for something new to be said
But I write the same old song
And it seems I will for the whole day long

Am I some sort of fool with a vision
Tortured by my addiction
Or is it more simplistic
And I'm just optimistic

I feel like a blind man trying to paint
I feel like a saint without restraint
Attempting an art just not meant for me
Would you agree?

I don't know which way is out
As I dizzily stumble about
Trying to find where I should go
When I know there's a journey I must undergo
