I want to say it's over
but it will never end.

Favorite line was, "My heart will drag along closer than a friend." It's good stuff, but to me, the last stanza was a bit weak in comparison to the beginning. Thank you for your work and keep writing...

between this and " i need a break"---

the speaker is pushed to the brink....almost forced to leave just for her salvation...

"you will push me away farther than your arms could reach"

lots said in that line.

a confessional style..and you do it very well..you make us feel the pain, suffocation, the need to get some space.
