Responsibilities of Intelligence

The most commonly inspired quality of intelligence is satire. That makes a statement about the quality of life we experience as a society. And its sad … because it ought to do more. An unripe citrus fruit … whether its lime … lemon … or orange … produces a sharp stinging bitterness … that transcends our ability … to be repulsed by it. Its the … Blimey! … of the vernacular English … that says … I haven't yet learnt to understand how it does that!

Hence when we hear the remark … that … intelligence ought to take responsibility for ignorance in the world … we immediately fall back on … blimey! … and climb into the pulpit of the saint … to wonder at the limitations of human capability. The question that arises is … whether the ordinary man in society ought to be subject to such a practice of intelligence … that defines our norms about social behavior … in the world.

A woman who enjoyed a fair relations with her husband … experiences a tragic loss of companionship … on his death … and wonders if she ever bothered to think on her own … in their lifetime together. Such is the role of intelligence in the world … whether or not … we are aware of it. Like an unripe orange … the flavor of intelligence … combines a series of nuances … potencies … promises … and apparencies … in reference to the living life … to make of it … something rational and coherent.

The notion is Byzantine … and it reminds us of the orthodox in thought … after the fall of the Roman Empire … and before Europe crept into the dark ages. From the Byzantium … the world saw the advent of Islam in the Middle-East … and the commencement of Siva worship … in the East. Europe's recovery from the dark ages … brought a new attitude about the role of intelligence … in effect … emphasizing its pragmatic nature … of civil laws … and the implication that each individual … takes responsibility for his own.

It introduced the culture of separation … in social relations … and man's separation from God. What existed … prior to the development … was stored in a critical view of human bias … and its potential destructiveness of thought. We may today be unraveling that package that we stored away … for a second look. And in reviewing it … find that … its a unique view of the human condition … founded on passions. But to bring it to our attention … past our blocks and allergies … we need to find a new way to express it.

For intelligence to take responsibility for all … is to suppose a fair volume of concern about everyone and everything in the world. The women do it admirably … by converting the work of the passions … into mind. That of course translates … in the vernacular of the … Jetsons family … as being a body of intelligence … including mind … but not separated from it. And in the way the woman … brings the body mind … into relations with society … makes a remarkable statement about … specie adaptation to its environment.

The mind … in its isolated application … took the trail of abstraction … a device that reflects on what has taken place … and then attempts to create a thesis … of the human individual in action. The trail led our societies down the hallowed halls of academia … and is today the summum bonum … of human understanding. In doing so … it claims that … academic knowledge … is part of the intelligence that takes responsibility for ignorance. Some tea? Just half a cup if you don't mind.

Rumors abound … quite naturally in academic circles … fed by doubts … that the Byzantine preserves the original experience of man … as experienced by the early Greeks. But it has gone into a withdrawal … about itself … and today expresses itself in the nuances of speech … that women portray so well. But a review of the literature from Egypt … particularly surrounding the … Ankh … Osiris … Set … and the curiously adamant Isis … reveals much in the nature of human thought … that evolved naturally in the first light of civilization.

It refers to a oneness of being … that split itself into a duality … of good and evil … that today seeks to re-unite itself with its original form of oneness. It suggest a mutation in the human specie … that makes this valiant attempt … in the identity of modern man … given to hacksaw perceptions … of the profound and holy in our past … into a common sense perception. The alternative appears to suggests … a descent into the chaos … and to re-invent human thought.

Either approach is met by the … double-ax of opposites … that prevents their true achievement. An insistence on knowledge and learning … draws the ire of the passions … that detests being instructed. And a descent into chaos … is stopped by the middle class comforts we have accustomed our preferences to … in these times. This can only refer to a third alternative … that presents itself … as chaos in modern thought … nicely packaged … for the morning commuter … to work. And that to my mind … is a mutant … in working clothes.

In my own review of my experiences … I appear to have cultivated odds and bits … about the evolving human mind … that await the light of affirmation. And here's one … that gives me comfort on the issues. Its regarding my home grown thesis … about the evolution of the rabbit into the roo. Its about our early cuddly experiences of the rabbit … built to go forth and multiply … that outgrew its program … and evolved into the … oddly balancing picture of the roo. And on the way … it mutated its mammalian instincts for the marsupial. And in the process … giving rise to a badge of specie … found no where else … but Australia.

The isolation of the experience … in the olde Australis … appears to have come to an end. Our societies today … have commenced … the Zombie parade … as a social expression of these changes … and are bringing it … to mainstream society … right next to the norms and values of everyday life. Its the third alternative no doubt … or the third estate … if you will … of the common people. Blimey!
