Deadly Nightshade

BEWARE!!! Toxic it is !! One of the most toxic in North America, I think....

He came and saw a plant,

Looking quite charming.

Little he knew it was the Deadly Nightshade,

Nor he saw anything alarming.

He looked at its purple flowers,

The shape of a bell.

How attractive he found them,

now nobody could tell.

For he soon saw it's shiny black berries,

waiting to be eaten,

He plucked and ate two dozen

and it made his mouth sweeten.

The toxins worked as fast as they can and

He now is a Dead Man!!

Just a poem -- Rewiew as you like... 20 berries would kill a man !!!

Presentation is the first battle to win when you seek to lure viewers to read your poetry. While your color is perhaps befitting to your poem, your font size is both distracting and irritable. Secondly, the line "NOR he saw anything alarming." is grammatically incorrect. "Nor" is not the correct word for this sentence. I could explain it all now, but look it up yourself. Thirdly, make sure you don't randomly end lines, you are borderline prose here, which is not poetry. I also feel you are sidetracked by your scarce use of rhyming in this poem. When rhyming, make sure the words fit your use so that you control where your poem goes and they don't control you. A unique poem. Good Job.
