Sorry Mom

Sorry Mom

A Poem by DareToDream
"

just a rant basically

"

I know you see it differently than I do…

But I’m still here, mom, and I can feel it too

I know it hurts, but you’ve been strong

You’ve seen us through all the wrongs

Don’t give up on me now

I’m still your baby girl, with the curly hair

I still love you more than anything in the entire world

I’ve made some bad choices

But I’m still the same

Please, mom, don’t turn away

I may have a different life

But I still want you by my side

Even though we never see eye to eye

I know one day I’ll make you proud

I’ll be the daughter you always bragged about

I can really feel this poem. This writing is deep and touched me. Really well done with this, I can feel the need to make your mum proud. I love this.

Sad and heartfelt. A fantastic emotional write, growing up and sadly apart from our parents.

The poem is very beautiful and the story was very good. Real love hold on in the good and bad times. My kids are back home and i don't complain. I worry for them. A mother love is always the strongest. We need to tell them how wonderful they are. I like the total poem. A very good ending for a excelelnt poem.

This is beyond beautiful!! This poem reads like you wrote it from the deepest part of your heart with the dream of building a bridge to your Mom. Your words of love n' faith that someday all will turn out right inspire me! ㋡
