Rain, Rain, Won't You Stay?

It was raining today, and I kept coming across puddles, and for some reason I kept finding mself standing in them with my feet soaked! =]

Bills, college, cars
Life goes by so fast
Sometimes you never know
Where you are or how you got there
Responsibilities in every nook and cranny
The stress just gets to me some days
And I just cannot deal with it
So I am grateful for days like these
When I don't have to be an adult
And I can walk out in the rain
Letting the drops splash on my face
While I search the ground for puddles
Waiting to be terrorized by my feet
It feels great to be a kid agian

I not too long ago found myself embracing the rain.. it can be such a cleansing and uplifting thing if you view it that way. Going for a walk to the store.. I'm 38 and seen a big inviting puddle... guess what not only did my feet get soaked.. I jumped in it like I was 12 and loved the feeling it brought back. This poem brings me that peace that rain can bring... that childhood innocense we all yearn! Keep it up.. this was uplifting!

This is such a well written write here, I like the feeling I get with this write.
It's kind of mellow really. First line though makes me think of bills.
Very well written though, enjoyable read.
