Ice-Blue, Venomous Green.

Ice-Blue, Venomous Green.

"
Soft morning light pours slowly down pale skin as fingertips follow closely.
An ice-blue eye gently opens into a warm, venomous green.
A familiar image mixed memories of old untold stories,
Tales of a land once traveled with caution and ecstasy.
Such surrender offers sweet releases for frail hearts,
Hearts ravaged with whirlwinds of change.
Winds which added ice to blue and venom to green.
But the past was gone and present was enticing,
And one only does as one is tempted.
Alas, ice does not forget and on such lone, cold nights they remind relentlessly,
Heeding only to disdain and disgust.
Always opening to a warm, inviting green.
