All Your Words.

All Your Words.

A Poem by Deathless_Sorrow

What hides underneath your nails?

Behind all those corroded teeth?

Inside those cuts you justify?

What can make you see?

All your words, s**t to me.

Send those flies back down your spine.

One pair of wings is good enough.

You had your chance, where is your light?

It's left you behind!

(And still you beg?)

What can make you see?

All your words, just s**t to me.

First actual lyrics I've done in a while. Everything is open to change. Will add more once writers block dissipates.

There is a mix of compassion and honesty in these lines that rings true. Sometimes to those we love, brutal honesty is the only answer.
