Upon Changing Seasons

Upon Changing Seasons

A Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)

"Upon Changing Seasons"

Life moves on without rhyme or reasons.

As destine to be “upon changing seasons.

Is it random chance that leads our path?

An act of  divine design and it aftermath?

Or do we pick and choose our own destiny?

Decided by the choices we make being free,

Or can we choose simply to just rearrange?

Things in our lives like the seasons change.

Is it a mere whim or profound divine destiny?

That leads us to follow the path that we see?

Do our lives flow in a set pattern or design?

Or play out a fantasy that’s all in our mind?

I have my opinion yours is not mine to give.

I think we’ll be judged by the way that we live.

As we treat others then so we shall be treated.

As while our own action may well be repeated.

Think about it before you treat someone badly.

For you my friend it could well end very sadly.

I’ve given my thoughts and some of my reasons.

You can decide upon each changing of seasons.
