As One

As One

A Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)

As One

Just like an ivy growing in the sun,

We are like vines entwine as one.

Tangled by heart and soul shared,

God took pity on those who cared.

He made us united to grow as one.

To share our lives in the bright sun,

Or under the stars in the moonlight,

Always loving and growing as one.

One mind, and one heart, souls together.

With our God all storms are weathered,

If we hold on to God and each other,

Loving mankind as sister or brother.

Lend a hand where you find a need,

Sharing Gods love and plant a seed.

In service to Him, we walk in the sun

As now and forever entwined as one…

Great theme here in this write ... I see teensy things I'd tweak and if you want to hear about them shoot me an e-mail and I'll share ... But I love the concept and I think you have a winner here.

This reminds me of the scripture, "A three strand cord is not easily broken" and it is true. With God in the center of our relationships, we cannot lose. :-) This paints a lovely picture of that, Debby. :-)
