the Pitiful, Oblivious, Egocentric, huMan

A Poem by J.T. Decker
"

Ignorance is Bliss

"
My kind are
far
from being rarities.

Here lies:
No Excuse
 "Please, do not
perceive my words
as one."

We do little;
only
what we must.

Propel our
self images
as if people
see the same
damn thing.

My kind are
blind.
It's a curse.

Do not
pity us.
We do not
have the slightest
f*****g clue.

We can not
know.
We never will.
